Yes! We Can Create Justice!Dare to Dream of a World of Equal Marriage Everywhere! On January 31, 2010, I wrote those words at the top of a facebook group. The name of the group? I Bet We Can Find 1,000,000 People who Support Same-Sex Marriage. Imagine my surprise when we reach over TWO million members in just over two weeks! We collected over 60,000 petition signatures for equality, united activists worldwide, and even saved young gay lives. The people have spoken. Justice. Now. Thanks to everyone who joined. You made a difference.
Now, just three years later, I'm feeling a similar euphoria as the rainbow of equality spreads around the world. In the past few weeks alone, we have won equality in France, New Zealand, Minnesota, Delaware, Rhode Island. It's another snowball effect. Love is the greatest power in the world, and love is winning. We won legal equality for people of colour. We won legal equality for women. Now, we are winning legal equality for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans) people. We are dancing in the revolution! Please like & share to celebrate the win.
